What does time leave behind in tea, in memory, and in us?
In this Tea Tasting & Story Circle, we will explore how time transforms flavor, aroma, and experience through three teas. We’ll begin with a Korean sprouted barley leaf tea, a fresh expression of new growth that prepares the senses for deeper teas to follow.
We will then journey into aged Pu-erh with a 2012 Bulang Mountain ancient-tree raw Pu-erh, traditionally smoke-dried, offering layers of mountain character, wood, smoke, and evolving sweetness. Our final tea will be a rare 2002 Menghai Golden Bud ripe Pu-erh, matured for more than two decades into a deep, smooth, earthy expression.
Between cups, we’ll slow down for sensory exploration, reflection, and conversation. Together, we’ll consider how tea holds traces of landscape, craft, memory, and time and what it might teach us about our own processes of change…
